Parade presented by Richfield Bloomington Credit Union
The annual Bloomington Heritage Days parade will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
Who will be in the parade? YOU! To participate in the parade the only requirement is that you register. Registration is based on a first come first serve basis. Residents, organizations, neighborhoods, schools, churches and businesses are all invited.
Spectators should set up and sit along 102nd Street between 3rd Avenue and Lyndale Avenue. Parade travels west along 95th Street beginning at 3rd Avenue (east of Nicollet).
New Parade route for 2016!
Parade travels west along 102nd Street beginning at 3rd Avenue S (east of Nicollet, south of 98th St), to Lyndale Ave., turning north on Lyndale to E 99th St., then west to E. Bloomington Fwy.
Specific planned closures of certain blocks of 3rd Avenue S, 102nd Street, Lyndale Avenue and E. 99th St will be closed during specific times which were reviewed and approved by City of Bloomington staff, consistent with applicant’s permit.
Finding parking nearby can be a challenge. Free off-site Park ‘N Ride shuttle service is available starting at 9:30am from Normandale Community College.
